The Colombo ILL database will not be available Thursday, February 13 from 11PM until 3AM due scheduled maintenance.

Classic Catalogue downtime early Monday morning, January 20
Due to scheduled maintenance, the Classic Catalogue will be unavailable for about an hour early Monday morning, January 20, 2014, beginning at 00:10 (12:10 a.m.). Electronic journals at year-end
Electronic journal subscriptions are prone to having access terminated at the end of each year. Please note that the 成人VR视频 Library has renewed all of its online subscriptions and it is our hope that our publishers will minimize the disruption of electronic access. Should problems arise in January we will make every effort to reinstate access as quickly as possible. Please report any access problems to collections.library [at] mcgill.ca.

HVAC system renovations at Osler and Life Sciences library branches
A major ventilation renovation project at the McIntyre Medical Building is underway. Mechanical systems, including exhaust and ventilation, will be upgraded in order to bring systems up to modern standards and improve energy efficiency. This project, carried out as part of the government鈥檚 Knowledge Infrastructure Program, includes roof work over the Osler Library of the History of Medicine as well as an overhaul of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems on floors 1 through 6.

Life Sciences Library redesign and HVAC work
Last spring, consultations were conducted by our Faculty and 成人VR视频 Library Services on the future of the Life Sciences Library. Students, residents, faculty and staff from our health sciences community were invited to provide initial input on how the Life Sciences Library space could be reconfigured based on current and future needs.
Library hours during Thanksgiving weekend
Most Library branches will be closed on Monday, October 14 (Thanksgiving Day). Many Library branches will be open with modified hours for study over the weekend, with some offering services. Please visit the individual branch pages on the Library website for details regarding opening and service hours.
The Humanities and Social Sciences Library, located in the McLennan-Redpath Library Complex, will be open for study on Monday, October 14 from 8am to midnight. Services will be closed.
PGSS Family Collection
Through the PGSS Library Improvement Fund,聽the Post-Graduate Students鈥� Society of 成人VR视频 in collaboration with the PGSS Family Care Caucus and the 成人VR视频 Library created the PGSS Family Care Collection in order to assist students who bring their children to various branch libraries. Available at Library Service desks, the collection includes a small chair, crayons, colouring sheets and both fiction and nonfiction works suggested by PGSS for a variety of age groups.
