The Territoires r茅cr茅atifis prot茅g茅s database is produced by the Ministre des Ressources naturelles et de la Faune (Quebec). It is a cartographic database, for use in a GIS, that contains over 450 recreation and protect areas in Quebec. The areas are grouped into four categories: wildlife management areas (gestion de la faune), conservation and wildlife preserves (conservation et la protection de l鈥檈nvironnement et de la faune), forest research stations (l鈥檈nseignement et 脿 la recherche foresti猫re) and migratory bird sanctuaries (protection de la faune migratrice).
