Macdonald Campus Farm wins regional award for milk excellence
The Macdonald Campus Dairy Unit has been named best in the region in the 36th Agropur Club of Excellence for Milk Quality Awards.
On Friday, November 22, General Farm Manager Janice Pierson attended the Agropur regional meeting in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield with Natasha Lapointe (Animal Science Coordinator) and Pierre-Marc Deschamps (Animal Science Technician). There, the ranking of the top finalists and announcement of the regional champion for the 2024 Agropur Club of Excellence for Milk Quality Award were revealed and we are proud to announce that Macdonald Campus Farm is the winner of this award for the Mont茅r茅gie-West region.
Congratulations and thank you to our incredible farm and support staff whose hard work achieved these excellent results! It is a major achievement to win this award in a research and education farm where many people are involved in milking and barn activities.
As a 2024 Milk Quality Regional Champion, Macdonald Campus Farm will participate in Agropur's annual meeting on Wednesday, February 12, 2024, where the names of the grand champions for the milk quality award will be announced.
