Benjamini and Sch ramm asked if a Cayley graph is nonamenable if and only if there exists a number p such that the random p-subgraph has infinitely many unbounded com ponents. In this talk\, I will explain an answer to this conjecture for th e mapping class group and irreducible cubical groups. This is joint work w ith Donggyun Seo.\n\nWe will gather in the lounge for teatime after the ta lk\, and then we will go for dinner with Inhyeok.\n DTSTART:20260311T200000Z DTEND:20260311T210000Z LOCATION:Room 1104\, Burnside Hall\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 0B9\, 805 rue Sherbrooke Ouest SUMMARY:Inhyeok Choi (Korea Institute for Advanced Study) URL:/mathstat/channels/event/inhyeok-choi-korea-instit ute-advanced-study-371825 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
