Andrew Potter joins 成人VR视频鈥檚 Max Bell School of Public Policy
August 14, 2019 | The Max Bell School of Public Policy is thrilled to announce that Andrew Potter has joined the School to support its teaching, outreach, research, and policy engagement activities.

His extensive experience in the Canadian media landscape, his considerable policy interests, and his academic background form a winning combination that will benefit our MPP students and the development of the school鈥檚 forthcoming publications,鈥 said Chris Ragan, the Director of the Max Bell School.
Andrew Potter鈥檚 role as Associate Professor (Professional) begins effective immediately. He will focus on developing the school鈥檚 policy publications and training students in the flagship Master of Public Policy (MPP) program.
鈥淚'm extremely excited to be joining the Max Bell School. Chris Ragan has an ambitious agenda for the School, he has put together an excellent team, and I'm looking forward to helping make Max Bell the go-to site for all things policy related in Canada,鈥 said Potter.
A former journalist, between 2011 and 2016 Andrew Potter was managing editor and then editor in chief of the Ottawa Citizen, and from 2006 to 2011 he was a public affairs columnist for Maclean's Magazine. He is also a former Director of the 成人VR视频 Institute for the Study of Canada. Potter is the author of The Authenticity Hoax: How We Get Lost Finding Ourselves, and the co-author, with Joseph Heath, of the best-selling book The Rebel Sell: Why the Culture Can't be Jammed.
Andrew Potter holds a PhD in philosophy from the University of Toronto and did postdoctoral work at the Universit茅 de Montreal. He studied Philosophy as an undergraduate at 成人VR视频, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1993.
