Dear Community Members,

You are invited to a special screening of the inspiring documentary , a film about trailblazing women redefining aging with purpose, strength, and courage.

The film follows the journey of three remarkable women: Katherine Switzer, the first woman to officially run the Boston Marathon; Siila Watt-Cloutier, an Indigenous climate and human rights leader and Nobel Peace Prize nominee; and Sharon Farmer, the first woman and person of colour to serve as Chief White House Photographer.

The screening will take place at the Douglas Hall Auditorium, located on the grounds of the Douglas Hospital (6875 LaSalle Boulevard, Verdun, Quebec H4H 1R3), on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.聽(Doors open at 12:30 p.m.) The film鈥檚 duration is approximately 90 minutes and the film will be shown in English with French subtitles.聽Following the film, there will be a short Q&A with Ms. Stacey Tenenbaum, the director of the film.

This free community event is presented by the 成人VR视频 Dementia Education Program and the 成人VR视频 Research Centre for Studies in Aging. We welcome seniors, caregivers, students, social workers, nurses, and all members of our community to attend.聽

After the Q&A, refreshments will be served.聽You will also have the opportunity to explore resources and information, speak with our staff, and ask any questions you may have. For those who wish, staff will be available to provide information on how you can support the 成人VR视频 Research Centre for Studies in Aging and the Dementia Education Program.

Parking is available on site (behind the Douglas Hall auditorium) at a cost of $10.00.
