Introducing Simulation Into Your Curriculum: From Principles to Practice
Target audience: Educators who听frequently develop and/or deliver听simulation-based educational activities.
- 听Describe how people learn and understand the added value of simulation;
- 听Outline the principles of effective debriefing for simulation-based education;
- 听Apply different methods of debriefing and describe the advantages / disadvantages of each approach;
- 听Discuss a variety of opportunities and approaches for teaching and learning with simulation and听outline best practices in each context.
This is an Accredited Simulation Activity (Section 3) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. You may claim a maximum of 7.5 hours for this activity.
