R茅mi Bolduc wins Concert of the Year, Jazz and World Music at the 2016 Opus Awards
R茅mi Bolduc, Chair of the Jazz Department at the Schulich School of Music, was awarded an Opus Prize in a ceremony held Sunday, February 7 at the Salle Bourgie. 聽His concert performance of 聽"L'Hommage 脿 Dave Brubeck" featured performances by Schulich School of Music jazz聽students Andrew Boudreau, Mathieu McConnell-Enright and Louis-Vincent Hamel. 聽Bolduc says聽聽"Having this opportunity to give a concert with some of my students from the Schulich School of Music is an inspiration for me and also聽for them. Winning this price on top of it is so exciting and聽I congratulate the students who played with me." Bolduc's聽album of the same name, as performed with Fran莽ois聽Bourrasa, Fraiser聽Hollins and Dave Laing聽was also nominated in the Jazz and World Music Album of the Year category.聽
