With a number of laureates from the Schulich Community, we couldn't be prouder of our faculty and alumni. The ceremony celebrated the ongoing creativity of the Quebec music scene during the 2020-2021 season.

Professor聽Martha de Francisco聽is part of 成人VR视频's Bicentennial Digital Time Capsule聽

Martha de Francisco, Associate Professor of聽Sound Recording in the department of Music Research at the Schulich School of Music, is a record producer and recording engineer specializing in Classical music. Her research interests include music recording with virtual acoustics, critical listening studies and the aesthetics of recorded music.聽

Professor Sean Ferguson has been appointed as the next Dean of the Schulich School of Music. Prof. Ferguson鈥檚 five-year, renewable term will begin on July 1, 2022, and end June 30, 2027.聽

Anthony Tan Wins 2021 Jules L茅ger Prize

Anthony Tan (MMus鈥09, PhD鈥15) is the winner of the 2021 Jules L茅ger Prize for New Chamber Music for his composition Ways of Returning (2020). An 18-minute-long piece for amplified string quartet and electronics, Ways of Returning was commissioned by Quatuor Bozzini and E27 musique nouvelles.聽
