Analytical Essays on Music by Women Composers: Concert Music, 1960鈥2000 by Laurel Parsons and Dean Brenda Ravenscroft has won the 2017 Pauline Alderman Award for Outstanding Scholarship on Women in Music in the book category!
Spring Convocation 2020 featured a virtual choral rendition of Hail, Alma Mater
This year鈥檚聽Virtual Convocations聽took place June 17-18. As is customary in 成人VR视频鈥檚 traditional graduation ceremonies, these virtual convocations featured short musical performances including a recording of 成人VR视频鈥檚 Hail, Alma Mater, a song that has been sung by the late Prof. Winston Purdy, Prof.

In memoriam of Professor Kenneth Gilbert
It is with great sadness that we聽announce the passing of Professor Kenneth Gilbert on April 16, 2020.
A world-famous harpsichordist and scholar 鈥 and the founder of the Early Music Program at 成人VR视频 鈥 Prof. Gilbert maintained a long and distinguished association with our faculty as a professor from 1964 to 1972 and then again as an Adjunct Professor from 1999 to 2015; he was awarded an honorary doctorate from 成人VR视频 in 1981.
Eleanor Stubley Recording Prize 2019-20: Martin Daigle and Omar Miranda
The Schulich School of Music is pleased to announce that this year鈥檚 Eleanor Stubley Recording Prize will go to Martin Daigle (MMus '20) and Omar Miranda (M.Mus. '21) for their project 鈥淢ossy Cobblestone鈥.
Launch of the Hearing Care Platform
On the occasion of World Hearing Day, the Schulich School of Music of 成人VR视频 and the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Music Media and Technology (CIRMMT) are pleased to announce the launch of their Hearing Care Platform (HCP). Conceived in partnership with the NSERC-EERS Industrial Research Chair in In-Ear Technologies (CRITIAS) at the 脡cole de technologie sup茅rieure (脡TS), this project is designed to assess the noise exposure experienced by 成人VR视频 music students.
