Registering for 600-level courses (Undergraduate Arts students)

Eligibility requirements:

  • You are an undergraduate Arts student, enrolled in听U3.
  • Note: Visiting, Special or Exchange students are ineligible.
  • Your current 成人VR视频 CGPA is at least听3.30.
  • You have the written approval from each of the following:
    • The instructor of the course; and
    • Your program advisor or the director of your undergraduate program.
  • The course is at the 600-level (registration in 700 or 800-level courses will not be permitted).
  • You may only enroll in one 600-level course per term, with a maximum of 6 credits throughout your Arts degree (subject to regular degree requirements).
  • You have submitted your request by the requisite deadline:

Requests to register in 600鈥�level courses will鈥�only be accepted during the term听immediately听preceding the requested term.鈥疉辫辫濒颈肠补迟颈辞苍蝉听submitted鈥�earlier than one term in advance will not be reviewed. 鈥�听

Fall term: May 1-Aug.31, Winter term: Nov. 1-Jan.听5,鈥� Summer听term: Mar 1. -Apr. 15听

It is the responsibility of the student to start the procedures well in advance.听

Late requests may be refused. If听processed听after the , a late add request via Service Point is听required听and an administrative fee may apply.听

Procedures to follow to submit a request:

  1. Get written approval from the professor of the course and your program advisor or the director of your undergraduate program.

The approvals should state the following:

  • Your full name and student ID number
  • Name of the Professor of the course / Departmental Advisor or Undergraduate Program Director
  • Title of course / Subject / Course Number / CRN / Semester
  • Email Example: Subject: Approval Confirmation to register for POLI 618

This is to confirm that I approve (your name)'s request to register for POLI 618 Quantitative Analysis (CRN 514) in Fall 2023.听[Professor's Name]

  • You must save the approvals in pdf format.
  1. Complete the and upload both approvals to it, by the above-mentioned deadlines, and well in advance of the start of classes.

If your request is approved:

  • You will be issued a permit-override to register for the course and will be notified via the Arts OASIS Portal.
  • You must register for the course on MINERVA before the end of the course Add/Drop period. Where relevant, the late registration penalty will be applied, and will not be waived.
  • The course evaluation methods and grading standards are the same for all students, whether graduate or undergraduate.
  • The regulations and practices of the Faculty of Arts remain in effect.
  • If requesting a K (extension), KE (further extension), for a graduate level course; you must submit a notification via the by the deadline stipulated on this link and .

If your request is refused:

  • You will be notified via the Arts OASIS Portal if any eligibility criteria have not been met.
  • All decisions are final. There is no appeals process.
