Dr. Mela Sarkar will deliver an invited talk titled Language Education and Canada's Indigenous Peoples at the National University of Malaysia on November 27, 2019.
In her talk, she will discuss the historical and sociopolitical context for language education of Indigenous Peoples in Canada, and how recent government initiatives such as the play a role in language education. This is a public event, part of IKMAS Seminar Series.
