CIHR Project Grant

This session will be hosted on Zoom – link and password will be provided to those who RSVP.

The purpose of CIHR’s Project Grant is to support a diverse portfolio of health-related research and knowledge translation proposals at any stage, from discovery to application, including commercialization; promote relevant collaborations across disciplines, professions, and sectors; and contribute to the creation and use of health-related knowledge.

Researchers who are planning to apply to the upcoming are encouraged to consult the Project Grant Registration FAQ and to attend this information session, which will include:

  • A presentation about the objectives and full application requirements of the CIHR Project Grant by Katarina Stojkovic and Marie-Claude Belanger, Grants and Agreements Officers, OSR;
  • A presentation on tips and best practices by Dr. Mathieu Maheu-Giroux, Assistant Professor, Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health and previous successful Project Grant applicant and peer reviewer; and
  • A question and answer period where participants will be encouraged to raise any questions they may have about the program or the application process.
