Family Science Day: Small Habitats - Exploring the Nature Around Us
Have you ever wondered what could be living in a little patch of grass, or a small garden? Join听听听for an exciting hour exploring the green spaces on 成人VR视频 campus! We don鈥檛 tend to think of cities as places where lots of plants and animals live, but even small habitats can be super important for many species. Some are tiny and don鈥檛 need a lot of space, some need spots to rest while passing through, and some don鈥檛 mind the city at all! We鈥檒l use a mix of scientific, indigenous, and your own personal knowledge to see what nature could be hiding right around the corner.
Come meet us in the children's garden in front of the Macdonald-Stewart Building at 10:30am and be prepared for some time outside. This activity is aimed at grades 3-5, but all are welcome! Worksheets are bilingual, explanations will be in English.听
