Clinical applications of Nonword Repetition Tests
Nonword repetition tests have been used for some 20 years in research and clinical practice to help correctly identify developmental language disorder. This talk will provide a tutorial on the use of NWR tests based on published research (Dr. Rvachew), research on a newly developed multilingual NWR test used to identify language disorders in children with autism (Dr. Nadig) and research on a newly developed NWR in French designed for older school-age children and adults. A question and answer period will follow.
The talk will be preceded by the presentation of the 2019 SCSD Distinguished Alumni Award for Professional Leadership.
