Data Mining and Security (DMaS) Lab develops AI tools to defend the cyberspace of Canada

SIS Faculty Member and his research team 聽are聽collaborating with the Defence Research & Development Canada () to develop an AI-powered interactive platform to understand the inner workings of software binaries, including both benign and malicious software. The AI-powered platform聽聽will contribute to defend the cyberspace of Canada. The scope of this new 5-year research contract spans across the areas of deep learning, visual analytics, information retrieval, cybersecurity, and reverse engineering.
