The traditional roles\, training and knowledge required to manage and preserve digital information are now essential for information profession als in order to be successful in their positions. But what expertise is ne eded exactly?'\n\nSpeaker bio\n\nGeneviève Eustache has been working for m ore than 35 years at the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Ottawa. She st arted her career as the Curator of scientific documents at the National Mu seum of Man\, which became the Canadian Museum of Civilization in 1989. Sh e has been responsible of the following services: Archives and Documents\, Information Management Services\, Archives and Documentation Services\, a nd\, was nominated  Interim Director from 2008 to 2012\, directing the lib rary\, archives\, the artifact documentation services\, as well as the tea m in charge of the Canadian Culture Online digitization projects at the mu seum.
