PhD Grad and Course Lecturer Melanie Doucet publishes study on supportive relationships for youth leaving care

In a photo voice study released this month in the International Journal of Child and Adolescent Resilience, Dr. Melanie Doucet worked with eight former youth in care to describe what types relationships they had found most helpful as they left group or foster care. Relationships to culture, spirituality and the land were identified as particularly important for racialized and Indigenous youth.

The Regulation, Affect, and Development (RAaD) Lab (Prof. Katherine Maurer) invites all students of the 成人VR视频 School of Social Work with access to an iPhone to participate in an online research study on increasing resilience to stress. Participants will engage in daily activities to increase healthy stress management skills via an iOS phone application (the JoyPop app).

Coming soon! McLennan-Redpath Terrace Pick-Up Service

Beginning the week of July 20, 成人VR视频 students, faculty and staff will be able to take advantage of a Terrace Pickup Service for print books not available electronically or through the听HathiTrust Emergency Temporary Access Service (ETAS). The initial rollout of this service will provide access to books housed in the McLennan-Redpath Library Complex and the Nahum Gelber Law Library only. Materials from other branches will not be available during the first phase of this service.
