 Alanis Obomsawin will deliver the 2023 Beatty Lecture at 成人VR视频
  on Monday\, October 16 from 6-7PM at Pollack Hall in 成人VR视频鈥檚 Strathcona 
 Music Building.\n\nFor 56 years\, Obomsawin has created documentaries that
  illuminate the lives and rights of First Nations\, Inuit\, and M茅tis peop
 le in Canada. Her extraordinary body of work includes the landmark film\, 
 Kanehsatake: 270 Years of Resistance\, released in 1993\, which documents 
 the 1990 Kanien鈥檏茅haka (Mohawk) uprising in Kanehsatake and Oka. In additi
 on to a prolific filmmaking career\, Obomsawin is a celebrated singer-song
 writer\, visual artist\, and activist. The event is open to the public.\n
 \nLOCATION: Pollack Hall located in the Schulich School of Music on 成人VR视频
 鈥檚 downtown campus.\n\nTickets cost $5 for students and $10 for general ad
