Overview

Electrical Engineering : Parallel computing models: shared memory, message passing and data parallel. Single-chip multiprocessors. Techniques for designing scalable cache coherent shared memory multiprocessors. Programming shared memory and message passing systems. Multithreading and synchronization; interplay between parallel programming and architecture.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2010-2011 academic year.
