Overview

Mathematics & Statistics (Sci) : Review of adjoint functors, triples and their algebras. Localization with applications to modules, topological spaces and sheaves. Duality theory with applications to Morita theory and the duality theorems of Pontrjagin, Stone, Gelfand and Kaplansky. Categories and deductive systems. Introduction to toposes. Applications to computer science and linguistics.
