Overview

Physics : Second quantization and quantum mean-field theory. Hartree-Fock theory, Fermi liquids. Broken-symmetry quantum phases: magnetism, charge density waves, Wigner crystals, superfluids, superconductivity. Introduction to mesoscopic physics and quantum transport. Introduction to renormalization techniques within the context of Kondo physics.
