Overview

Electrical Engineering : Hybrid Control Systems specified via ODEs and automata: continuous and discrete states and dynamics; controlled and autonomous discrete state switching. Regular and exotic (e.g. chaotic and Zeno) trajectories. Stability and controllability. Hybrid Maximum Principle and Hybrid Dynamic Programming; optimal control theory and computational algorithms. Engineering, industrial and aerospace examples.
