    Overview

    Performance : The lecture-recital comprises a minimum of 35 minutes of music and 25 to 35 minutes of oral presentation. The examiners and audience may question the candidate following the lecture-recital. The subject and repertoire will also be treated in a project paper, submitted within two months of the lecture-recital.

Complementary Courses (12 credits)

Four graduate-level courses (3 credits each), to be chosen from among the Faculty's course offerings in consultation with the advisory committee. Three of the four courses should be in the Department of Music Research; one of the four may be replaced with a supervised special project approved by the advisory committee and the performance graduate sub-committee.
