Programmes d鈥櫭﹖udes et formation : This English Exam for Teacher Certification is a MELS requirement for teaching in the Quebec English school system. Consists of a 2-hour exam designed to assess teacher candidates' competency in the language of instruction. Must be completed before the 3rd Field Experience. Students are permitted four attempts to pass. Students who do not pass after four attempts must withdraw from the teacher preparation program.
