Overview

Electrical Engineering : Transmission over fading channels: channel characterization and models, time and frequency selectivity, diversity and receiver techniques, outage, channel information and adaptive, opportunistic transmission strategies. Multi-carrier transmission techniques: OFDM and spread-spectrum. Multi-dimensional transmission techniques: MIMO, diversity and multiplexing trade-off, space-time codes. Cooperative communications. Iterative decoding, turbo coding/decoding, LPDC codes, graph-based codes.
