Overview

Religious Studies : This seminar takes full measure of the complex entanglements of religious and cultural traditions in history and the present. It explores the interaction of diverse yet intersecting universes of practice and meaning originating from notions of transcendence but embracing various spheres of human and social activities, from the arts through trade to healing. It pays particular attention to the relational and networked nature of religious formation and its contestability and reformability across a diverse spectrum of life-orientational commitments and disciplines of the body.
