Ores, gangue, fuels, slag, fluxes, recovery, refining, minor elements, byproducts and the environment. Roasting, drying, smelting, converting, reverberatory furnaces, flash furnaces, continuous and batch operations, injection practices and oxygen enrichment. Simulation, modelling, control and optimization.
