Image 8: This young child living in West Africa for a number of years presented with periorbital and cheek swelling of 2 days duration. There was no fever. The swelling was only mildly uncomfortable and not tender. Conjunctiva were normal as was vision. He gave a history of 3-4 day painless subcutaneous swellings occurring in various parts his body every few months for the past several years.
