Six months after immigrating to Canada, this Philippino man presented on July 1 to a Family Medicine Clinic in Montreal indicating that he had been developing this rash over his patella during the previous 5 months. It was not itchy nor tender. It was palpably raised,slightly scaly and anaesthetic to pin prick.

Diagnosis:

This was tuberculoid leprosy (TT), biopsy proven. On histology no AFB were seen and the epidermis was involved with the granulomatous changes. The lesions cleared with anti-leprosy medication over the next 6 months.
