Weather-Related Exam Cancellation 鈥� March 11, 2026

Due to inclement weather in the Montreal area, the university has suspended all in-person activities on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. As a result, all exams scheduled with Student Accessibility and Achievement (SAA) on this date have been cancelled.

SAA is currently working with instructors to reschedule affected exams. To allow sufficient time for coordination, instructors have been asked to reschedule exams to the week of March 16, 2026 or later.

  • Students: No action is required at this time. You will receive updated information once a new exam date has been confirmed.
  • Instructors: Once a new exam date is determined, please notify the SAA Exam Team by submitting a request through JIRA and include the updated exam details.

Thank you for your patience and collaboration as we work to reschedule all impacted exams.

What's Involved?

You鈥檒l meet with your mentor on a regular basis, between 1 and 2 hours per week. What areas do you want to work on most? You鈥檙e encouraged to identify and share your goals in each session. This will allow your mentor to effectively support you. Sessions with your mentor are a safe, supportive, and confidential space.

Be respectful of your mentor鈥檚 commitment to supporting you. Make sure to be on time for meetings and communicate any concerns with your mentor or a staff member.

We will never disclose a mentee's diagnosis with your mentor, nor any other personal or medical information deemed confidential.

Please note that you must have Peer Mentoring as a part of your active academic accommodation plan to be eligible for our Peer Mentor Program. Questions? Contact us as access.support [at] mcgill.ca.

The Mentee Experience

  • Increased self-awareness: identify personal strengths and barriers
  • Increased autonomy: learn academic skills and strategies that you can rely on throughout your studies

You can apply anytime.听 If you're applying mid-semester it can be challenging to find an appropriate match.听 If we're unable to find you a mentor, you may only be contacted at the beginning of the next semester.

  1. Click on "Request a Mentor" at the bottom of the page. This will lead you to the Peer Mentor Program (Student Accessibility and Achievement) on 成人VR视频's Mentorship Network. More information about the program is available here.听

  1. Once on 成人VR视频's Mentorship Network, click "join" at the top right of the page. You will be asked to create a profile using your 成人VR视频 email.听

  1. Next, you will be prompted to complete the registration questions to join the program. Choose Mentee from the dropdown list.听

  1. Once this is done, wait for an email from our team regarding your application!听
