Welcome to the 成人VR视频 Breast Outcomes Research Group

罢丑别听成人VR视频 Breast Outcomes Research Group聽is a breast surgical oncology research lab based in Montr茅al, Canada, dedicated to improving the聽quality, delivery, and outcomes聽of breast cancer care both locally and globally. Through patient-centered and data-driven research, we seek to understand how breast cancer affects individuals across diverse healthcare systems and to identify actionable solutions that drive meaningful change worldwide.


Our Mission

We investigate the聽epidemiology,听care delivery, and聽system-level performance聽of breast cancer services. By analyzing real-world data from both Canadian and international sources, we aim to identify gaps in care, reduce disparities, and propose solutions that enhance聽patient experience,听clinical effectiveness, and聽long-term outcomes.

Our research spans the full continuum of care鈥攆rom聽early detection to survivorship鈥攚ith a strong focus on聽equity,听access, and聽innovation聽in surgical oncology.


A Global Perspective, Local Impact

While based in Canada鈥檚 publicly funded healthcare system, our research addresses challenges shared across global settings: delayed diagnosis, unequal access to treatment, and variation in quality of care. We integrate data and insights from international sources to inform聽evidence-based policy听补苍诲听clinical practice听飞辞谤濒诲飞颈诲别.

We regularly draw on:

  • Canadian provincial and national health databases

  • Population-level datasets for comparative effectiveness research

  • International literature and global oncology guidelines

  • A multidisciplinary network of collaborators in聽surgery,听oncology,听public health, and聽health data science


Who We Are

Founded by聽Dr. Ipshita Prakash听补苍诲听Dr. Stephanie Wong, and currently led by Dr. Prakash, our lab operates within a tri-hospital network that includes the聽Jewish General Hospital, the聽成人VR视频 Health Centre (MUHC), and聽St. Mary鈥檚 Hospital. We collaborate closely with the research teams of聽Dr. Sarkis Meterissian听补苍诲听Dr. Ari Meguerditchian, creating a rich, collaborative environment for students, clinicians, and scientists alike.

Our trainees benefit from:
