Hired in 2006 at the Canadian International Development Agency as a Grants & Contributions Procurement Officer in Africa Branch through the Post Secondary Recruitment Process. Occupied 8 different positions over 15 years, all within CIDA or GAC in various capacities. Travelled for work to Senegal (x2), Mozambique, Mali, Indonesia, Tanzania (x2). Posted to Kandahar, Afghanistan from 2010 to 2011 as a Whole-of-Government Contracts Officer. Posted to Bamako, Mali in 2018 as Deputy Director in charge of the governance and health sectors. Since June 2020, Head of Cooperation of Canada鈥檚 international assistance programs in Mali and Niger. Lived in 6 countries, visited over 40. Speak and write 3 languages

Andrew Ng, Deputy Director (India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan)

Andrew Ng is a Canadian foreign service officer, currently deputy director responsible for Canadian foreign policy with India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan. He has previously served in various political, economic and public affairs capacities in postings to Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nigeria, the United States and Mali. Most recently, he managed Canada鈥檚 relationship with Mali and the resident UN stabilization mission as political counselor during Canada鈥檚 peacekeeping mission. Before joining government, he was a junior fellow in the Democracy and Rule of Law Project at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. He graduated summa cum laude from Cornell University in Government.

Anne-Marie Cloutier

Bio: Anne-Marie Cloutier has been a correctional program officer for inmates at the Federal Training Center-6099 for nearly 5 years. She holds a bachelor's degree in sexology and has worked in the ministry (Correctional Service Canada) for over 13 years. Her experience is in intervention, in a helping relationship. Before working with male inmates, she worked at the Joliette Institution, with female inmates as a behavioral counsellor. As a correctional program officer, she works with inmates who have committed crimes of a sexual nature, but also with those who have committed violent or drug-related crimes.

Matt Adolphe teaches writing and communication courses at various post-secondary institutes, including the University of Calgary, Mount Royal University, and SAIT. At SAIT, he teaches a variety of leadership and professional communication courses online. He holds a B.A. in Indigenous Studies and History form Laurentian University, and an M.A. in Communication Management from the University of South Australia. Beyond teaching, his professional life has been punctuated with experiences as a political organizer, volunteer, career coach, consultant, actor, radio DJ, studio musician, speech writer, and media presenter (the first English speaking TV news presenter in Macao). Moreover, he is the author of two books: "Canadian Workplace Culture: Mastering the Unspoken Rules" and "Would You Hire You?" Both books are aimed at helping people achieve success in their careers.

Bio: Simon has more than twenty years鈥 experience in recycling residual waste from municipalities, agribusiness and pulp and paper industries. In 2009, he founded Viridis Environnement, which quickly became the leader of it鈥檚 field with over $ 15 million in sales and around 50 employees, Viridis now recycles 600,000 tons of organic waste per year. Highly involved in his community, Simon sits on several boards of Directors, give many conferences on waste recycling and collaborate with Quebec Government on several policies and regulation in environment. Steven Powers: B.S Chemistry-Boston College, General Manager, Triumvirate Environmental (Canada), Inc.

Bio: Steven Powers is the General Manager of Triumvirate Environmental (Canada) Inc. Steve has over 30 years of technical hazardous waste and environmental management experience. Of that, 25 years has been involved with the management of hazardous waste transfer, storage and disposal facilities. Steve has been a member of Triumvirate since 2008. Previous to being a member of the Triumvirate team, Steve was VP of Operations for Jones Environmental in MA and Operations Manager for Laidlaw Environmental Services/ Safety-Kleen in North Andover, MA.
