The Faculty of Law was once again ranked among the world鈥檚 top universities at which to study law by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). The 2023 QS World University Rankings by Subject in Law and Legal Studies placed 成人VR视频 Law 29th worldwide, up two spots from 2022.听听听听
Since QS introduced the ranking in 2011, the Faculty of Law has consistently placed in the top 35 institutions globally. The QS ranking is based on academic reputation, employer reputation, H-index citations, and citations per paper. 成人VR视频 Law鈥檚 academic reputation was scored the highest in Canada.听听听

Elizabeth Carmichael Monk made history by becoming one of the first women called to the Quebec Bar. Her accomplished career in corporate and real estate law spanned over five decades of great social transformation. By naming a new philanthropically funded chair in business law after her, the Faculty of Law intends to honour the legacy of this pioneering alumna.

She was presented with the award at a ceremony held on 16 February. The day prior, she delivered the lecture associated with her award, entitled "De la m茅taphore 脿 la m茅moire: Restituer l鈥檋istoire de l鈥檈sclavage dans les d茅bats sur les formes contemporaines d鈥檈sclavage."听
