Our laboratories are located in rooms 5050, 5120 and 5310 in the Wong Building, and is fully equipped with state-of-the-art instruments and specially designed reactor systems to develop new catalysts, study catalytic processes and investigate detailed reaction mechanism. In addition, we have access to the Analytical Laboratory of the Chemical Engineering Department as well as to other facilities at 成人VR视频 for SEM, TEM, XRD, XPS, ICP, NMR and many more.
聽The CPE Laboratory can analyze various samples (solids or gas) for you. For example:
BET surface area and pore volume of porous聽solid materials (catalyst, carbon, adsorbent, etc.).
Active surface area, metal dispersion and crystallite size of catalysts聽via chemisorption.聽
Reactivity studies and catalyst screening聽(up to 900掳C) with online gas analysis (Mass spectrometer, Gas chromatography).
Adsorption studies and break-through curves.
