³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ

Current priorities

There are as many reasons to support ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ as there are students. Click on the priorities below to learn how you can make a meaningful gift to the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences and help us drive the future of dental medicine education, research, and community services.

EDI Initiatives

The Faculty’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion team is committed to advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion to better serve every individual that makes up our valued community. Funding towards the Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences – EDI Initiatives fund helps advance their mission.

Digital Dentistry

This fund allows ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ to accelerate its commitment to digital dentistry by driving innovation in oral health sciences and providing cutting-edge learning for future-ready students, enabling them to deliver quality care to the communities that they will serve.

Welcome Hall Mission Dental Clinic

This fund supports the Jim Lund Clinic at Welcome Hall Mission, a free dental service offered to low income and unhoused Montrealers who don’t have any type of dental insurance. Created through a partnership between the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences and Welcome Hall Mission, it is Montreal’s first permanent, free dental care clinic.

Dent ma maison

Dent ma maison is a mobile dentistry service providing oral health care to seniors in their homes, in cases where lack of mobility, financial constraints, or other factors preclude regular dentist visits. Dent ma maison promotes the maintenance of independence, health, and oral health in seniors. The Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences provides the materials, equipment and human resources, including professors, dental students, technical experts, and researchers.

Support for Research and Graduate Studies

³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ’s Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences Research Program is a leader in Canadian dental and oral health-related research. We’re continuously developing and improving our research and teaching programs, and philanthropic support therefore plays a massive role at jump-starting new areas of research that do not get government funding. Funding helps our researchers excel, and trains and prepares the researchers of tomorrow.

Mobile Clinic

The Mobile Clinic works with community groups and agencies on the island of Montreal to provide free dental care and to promote oral health education to vulnerable populations. The Clinic is run by ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ dental medicine students, volunteer dentists and support staff. The Mobile Clinic is made possible entirely through philanthropic support from our donors and fundraising events.
