³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ International Portfolio Challenge

The is the pioneer of buy-side finance case competitions that target pension funds, innovative portfolio design, and institutional asset management.

Each year, hundreds of students from around the world compete in the ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ International Portfolio Challenge (MIPC), either in-person at ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ or online, in a grand challenge designed to tackle pertinent socio-economic issues.

Now in its 9th edition, the MIPC, part of ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ’s Sustainable Growth Initiative, has evolved into a knowledge forum bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry practice. Participants develop innovative portfolio strategies addressing the needs of a broad range of stakeholders, putting their financial acumen and problem-solving skills to the test.

Teams present their solutions to a panel of industry leaders from Canada’s top pension funds and asset managers, receiving invaluable feedback and building connections between academia and industry. The MIPC continues to serve as a premier platform for fostering the next generation of finance professionals, equipping students with real-world insights and opportunities to advance their careers.
