Montreal Gazette article praises partnership between DISE, James Lyng Urban Arts School: "High School Rocks!"

In 2015 DISE听embarked on a program to support the transformation of听James Lyng High into an urban arts school, the first of its kind in Canada. The goals of the new perspectives are to engage students in support of learning, and improve success rates.
The partnership grant, "Building partnership synergy between school, university, and community artists", is funded by the听Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), led by DISE Prof. Bronwen Low, and听supported by DISE Profs.听Mindy Carter, Claudia Mitchell and听Elizabeth Wood.听
