- Align the institutional approach with recognized frameworks such as the FAIR Principles[1] (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable).
- Ensure that the unique rights, interests and circumstances of First Nations, the M茅tis Nation and Inuit are respected by adopting a distinction based RDM approach for research involving First Nations, the M茅tis Nation and Inuit communities and their data, such as OCAP[2] (Ownership, Control, Access, and Possession) and CARE[3] (Collective benefit, Authority to control, Responsibility, and Ethics).
