Fall Semester: Providing Safe and Supportive Opportunities for Learning

Published: 9 September 2020

Dear Friends of the Faculty,

With the vast majority of courses now being offered remotely, the fall semester is off to a good start. Faculty and staff have begun working on-campus on a rotating basis to provide Education students with the academic and administrative support they need. Ensuring student safety and offering a high-quality education will remain my top priorities as we move through a semester like no other.

For the past months we have worked intensively to prepare for this gradual return to campus. The Education Building and Currie Gym have been outfitted with new signage, hand sanitizing stations, and clear partitions in key areas to help facilitate safety protocols. Additionally, security and maintenance personnel within our buildings are being vigilant to uphold the established health and safety measures.

Our team of advisors (i.e. student affairs, program administrators, placement coordinators, wellness advisor) remain available to students by appointment. Course instructors and researchers have been and will continue to be supported by department chairs, the Dean鈥檚 Office, and other 成人VR视频-based resource networks. As we are adhering to safety protocols, we remain dedicated to investigating and teaching.

As we look at the academic year ahead, I am encouraged by the resilience I see all around me, and look forward to tackling the challenges we face as a strong global community of Education students, faculty, staff, donors and alumni!

Sincerely,
Professor Dilson Rassier
Dean, 成人VR视频 Faculty of Education
