Historical Approaches to Black Studies

Featuring three scholars from diverse disciplinary backgrounds, this Black History Month roundtable organized by the 成人VR视频 Institute for the Study of Canada will explore perspectives and approaches to Black Studies with a particular emphasis on its uniqueness in the Canadian context. The roundtable will be followed by a Q&A and a reception. The panel will include Sarah Riley Case, Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Law and Wendell Nii Laryea Adjetey, Assistant Professor in the Department of听History and Classical Studies, and will be moderated by David Austin, Lecturer in the 成人VR视频 Institute for the Study of Canada.

Breaking Barriers to Empower Black Entrepreneurs

Join the 成人VR视频 SCS community and our panelists Tiffany Callendar, FACE Co-founder and CEO, and Kerlande Mibel, Founder and President of International Black Economic Forum for a dialogue on breaking barriers to empower Black entrepreneurs.

The panelists will share insights and strategies that could help pave the way for more inclusive and thriving entrepreneurship among the Black community and promote creativity for a future where barriers are challenged. The discussion will be followed by a networking event where light refreshments will be served.
