What is ES Services?

It is a secure platform for alumni or former students to order and pay for products such as diplomas, archived transcripts, and certified copies.

Who can use ES Services?

Alumni or former students can use the platform to order and pay for products such as replacement diplomas, certified copies or archived transcripts.

Members of the public who need a proctor for external exams, can use this platform to request an external exam to be proctored at ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ.

Submitting an order

How can I submit an Order?

All products, except proctor exams, require login to (³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ's Student Information System) using your ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Username and Password.

Can someone place an order on my behalf?

No, orders that can not be verified against the generated ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Order ID will not be fulfilled.

What is a ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Order ID?

A ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Order ID is a unique code assigned to customers for placing an order. Each product or service requires its own ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Order ID.

Do I need a ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Order ID?

Certain products/services require the use of a ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Order ID.

Where do I get a ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Order ID?

If the order requires a ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ order ID, it will be indicated in the steps.

Can I reuse a ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Order ID?

No, you must not reuse a ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Order ID. Each product/service requires a unique one. Reusing a ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Order ID will result in canceling your order and obliging you to place an order again thus adding further delays to you receiving your order.

Can I share a ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Order ID?

No, you must not share your ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Order ID. Sharing your ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Order ID with someone else will result in not fulfilling the order.

Products

What name will appear on my diploma?

Your legal name as it appears in ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ’s system will appear on your diploma.

Is my middle name included on my diploma?

If your middle name is included in your legal name as it appears on Minerva, it will be included on your diploma.

How do I verify the name that will appear on my diploma/transcript?

Your legal name will appear on your diploma or transcript. In ES Services, you must verify your legal name in Minerva when submitting an order. You will see your legal name as it appears in the ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Student Information System and must confirm the information before proceeding to the next step. Alternatively, you can view your legal name in Minerva ->Personal Menu ->Name Change Form

Can I get a PDF of my diploma?

³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ does not issue digital copies of diplomas. You may request a Minerva Confirmation of Graduation letter or your Official Electronic Transcript (sent to recipients in as little as 15 minutes) as proof of graduation instead of your diploma. Or a certified copy of your diploma, which is issued as a PDF.

My diploma arrived damaged. What do I do?

Please email es-services [at] mcgill.ca with several pictures of the damaged diploma and/or envelope along with your full name, ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ ID number, and your original order number. We will review and provide further updates.

I want multiple copies of my diploma. How do I do this?

Follow the steps to order a replacement copy of your diploma. In Step 14, you can add additional copies and will be charged for each additional copy accordingly.

Can I order a partial transcript of my record?

No, ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ does not issue partial transcripts.

I can’t sign into Minerva. What can I do?

If you are a former student or alumni and are having trouble accessing Minera you can refer to this troubleshooting guide.

I received my order but there is an error or omission. How do I have this corrected?

Please email es-services [at] mcgill.ca with your order number and explain the error or omission.

Shipping and Delivery

Can I pick up my order in person?

ES Services does not currently offer pick-up.

How do I select Taiwan in the country list when entering my shipping address?

In the Shipping address, select ‘Taiwan’ from the Country/Region picklist and add the address details.

Service Point Checkout

I submitted an order in the previous eStore: Service Point Checkout and have an order number but I never got my diploma. What do I do?

Please note that the platform to order your diploma has changed to ES Services. All incomplete orders on Service Point Checkout have been cancelled and refunded. You will need to make a new order using our new platform.
