What hours are you open?

We are open from 9am to 4pm from Monday to Friday, and we are closed on weekends.

How can I connect to the Wi-Fi?

You will need to have an email address to access the internet.

Can I access a printer, photocopier or scanner?

Yes, these services are offered for free in the Neuro-Patient Resource Centre, room 354

Can I use a computer?

Yes, you can use the computer in the Neuro-Patient Resource Centre (room 354) or the computer in the patients and family room (room 346)

Can I request a book that you don't have?

We do not offer interlibrary loans, however if you have any book recommendations for our collection, feel free to submit them to us .

Do you enforce late fees for books?

No, there are no late fees

How many books can be borrowed at a time?

Three items may be bor­rowed at a time.

How long is the loan period?

Mate­ri­als may be bor­rowed for three weeks.

How can I renew my book?

You can renew books for an additional three weeks either by coming into the centre, by email (infoneuro [at] muhc.mcgill.ca) or by phone (514-398-5358).

Can you help me find more information about a medical condition, test, treatment, or hospital service?

Yes, we are happy to provide you with reliable medical information at your request, either through our print and online resources or a more personalized search depending on your specific needs. Yes, the Neuro-Patient Resource Centre has books and free pamphlets on many medical conditions and navigating a new diagnosis for both patients and their loved ones. We can also help you find useful services for patients and family in Montreal or Quebec at large. If we do not have any books or services that suit your needs, we can do a more personalized search to answer all your questions.
