Decisions and Application Status

Please note, meeting the minimum transfer requirements does not guarantee admission. Space is subject to availability and may vary from year to year. Students should follow the program overview for their current program until a decision about their transfer application is finalized. Students should NOT register for courses in anticipation of a transfer.

It is each applicant鈥檚 responsibility to check their 成人VR视频 e-mail at regular intervals and take any necessary action. If you have made plans to be away for the summer, please do not neglect to check your 成人VR视频 e-mail as there may be time sensitive requests. In some cases, you may be asked to provide additional documentation or information. If this happens, an e-mail will be sent to your 成人VR视频 e-mail address, informing you that the status of your application has been changed to 鈥淔ile Incomplete鈥 or 鈥淯nder Review.鈥 If you receive this message, you should immediately consult your application on Minerva to check the new requirements and submit the requested information. Incomplete applications cannot be processed and will eventually be canceled.

Decisions are reached by the Internships & Student Affairs Office and are made from mid July until late August, once program transfer capacities are determined. Students will be notified at their 成人VR视频 e-mail address when their application status changes. We are not able to send out decisions any earlier. The ability for current students to transfer programs within 成人VR视频 is an option and resource available to current students, but it is not a guarantee, and therefore students are reminded and encouraged to register for their current program and plan accordingly.

Transfer requests are evaluated on the basis of academic standing, the completion of any necessary pre-requisites and the submission of a personal statement. Students with fewer than 30 成人VR视频 credits on their record and/or a CGPA under 3.0 may be asked to attend an interview with the Internships & Student Affairs Director.

Please note, during this time, ISA will not issue permit overrides to allow you into 鈥淧rogram Restricted鈥 courses. You must wait for your transfer to be finalized.

Once finalized, you will receive a cumulative record delivered to your 成人VR视频 e-mail address. This document will outline which courses have been accepted for transfer/equivalency and which courses you will need to take to complete your program. Transfer credits will only be granted for appropriate courses passed with a grade of 鈥楥鈥 or better.

Students admitted to any of the B.Ed. teacher education programs will be required to write and pass the English Exam for Teacher Certification (EETC) during the first term of their transfer to the Faculty of Education. Please visit the EETC webpage for more information.

**If you are an International Student and you are accepted into a B.Ed. or the B.A.(Education) program, please be advised that you will be required to apply for a government-issued internship/co-op work permit, which will allow you to go on your mandatory field experiences.
