Update #3: Osler Library of the History of Medicine
Background: As a result of the water infiltration and recovery efforts related to McIntyre Medical Building fire incident in July, the Osler Library space in the McIntyre听Medical Building continues to be closed until further notice. The Osler recovery team has been focusing their efforts on restoring materials and making holdings from the Osler Library of the History of Medicine collection accessible to users.
Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering to close for two years for major renovation work beginning summer 2019
The Macdonald-Stewart Library Building, which houses the Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering, needs significant structural repairs and major internal upgrades. This work includes stabilization of the stone structure, foundation waterproofing, window replacement, washroom expansion and the installation of a new heating, ventilation and air conditioning system (HVAC).

Exam Period Access to Nahum Gelber Law Library for Fall 2018
From November 25 to December 21, 成人VR视频 students will be able to access the听Nahum Gelber Law Library听24 hours a day, seven days a week. As agreed between the Students' Society of 成人VR视频 (SSMU) and the Law Students Association (LSA), the Nahum Gelber Law Library will limit access to the three upper floors of the library to Law students only during the December 6 to December 20 examination period. 听Details are as follows:

Library Census Day November 19 | Head Counting Study November 26-29
On Monday, November 19, 2018, the 成人VR视频 Library will conduct a one-day census to learn more about our users. This will help inform decisions about improvements to Library services and spaces.
During that day, Library and security staff will ask visitors entering Library spaces to scan their 成人VR视频 ID cards. Those without a 成人VR视频 ID card will be asked to select their status (e.g.听成人VR视频 undergrad, staff听member, general public, visiting scholar, etc.) on a paper form.

Each year the Osler Library offers a number of awards and travel grants to local and international historians, physicians, graduate and post-doctoral students, and others whose research touches upon the history of medicine. From now through 7 January 2019, we are accepting applications for the following awards/grants:
SSMU's Library Improvement Fund now accepting proposals
For over two decades, the Library Improvement Fund (LIF) has invested in the most important Library needs of the undergraduate student body in order to enrich the student academic experience. This fund is administered by the Students鈥� Society of 成人VR视频 (SSMU) and is made up of a fee contribution of $8.50 per full-time student per semester, matched equally by alumni donors.
