Update July 20, 8:22am: WorldCat and other OCLC services now functioning normally.
WorldCat and other OCLC services are聽currently down. This issue is affecting both WorldCat Local (our main library catalogue) and WorldCat Discovery (our catalogue upgrade), the "Chat with a Librarian" and "Email a Librarian" services,聽the聽E-journals A-Z聽list, and Colombo ILL (our InterLibrary Loan service).
July 20 Terrace along Redpath Library Building inaccessible
Please note that on聽Friday, July 20 from 7am to 3pm, the terrace facing lower field along the Redpath Library Building will be inaccessible due to tree removal.聽
The terrace will be closed from the north end (Redpath Museum) to the terrace garden.聽
Osler Library of the History of Medicine Closed
Early Friday night, July 13, firefighters were called to the McIntyre Medical Building to put out a fire on the聽outdoor terrace. The evacuation procedure went smoothly and no injuries were reported.

Macdonald Campus Library roof repair summer 2018
The Macdonald Campus Library is undergoing roof repairs that began in聽early June of 2018.
The Library will be open but there will likely be additional noise. We have earplugs聽on hand at the service desk should you need them. The windows聽must remain closed as there will be dust and debris in the surrounding air.
Temporary Closure: Education Curriculum Resources Centre
The Faculty of Education will be undertaking major renovation work in the former Education Library space where the Education Curriculum Resources Centre (ECRC) is located. The work is slated to begin Monday, June 18聽and will continue throughout Summer and Fall 2018. Unfortunately, the nature of the work makes it impossible for the ECRC to remain open throughout the construction.
Downtime for WorldCat Catalogue, Colombo (ILL) & Databases A-Z Saturday, June 16 from 1:00am to 9:00am.
WorldCat maintenance is scheduled to start at聽1:00am and run through to 9:00am on Saturday, June 16, 2018.
