OverDrive Classic App to be retired at the end of 2022
OverDrive will be retiring their classic OverDrive app at the end of 2022 and moving users over to their Libby app. Existing users of the classic app will be able to continue using it until the end of the year, however the app will be removed from Apple App Store, Google Play and Microsoft Store on February 23, 2022.
Remote access to Library public workstations for 成人VR视频 students, faculty, staff now available
成人VR视频 students, faculty and staff can now connect remotely to Library workstations in order to use specialized software that may not be available on personal computers. Use 成人VR视频 IT鈥檚 AnyDesk Service to locate an available library workstation. Access the workstation remotely using Microsoft Remote Desktop.
Gartner resources now available at 成人VR视频
IT Services in collaboration with the Library is happy to announce that 成人VR视频 students, faculty and staff can now access Gartner, a new resource that provides expert analysis and opinion on IT-related topics at the intersection of business and technology.

Heaters added to outdoor tent on McLennan-Redpath terrace starting December 1
As of Wednesday, December 1, the 成人VR视频 community can take advantage of a new, heated, outdoor area.聽
Heaters in the tent located on the McLennan-Redpath terrace will聽provide 成人VR视频 students, staff and faculty with a safe, warm, space聽to聽take a break, dine, study,聽and socialize.
Heaters will be operational Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (excluding holidays).
Updated: Access Issue: Wiley and OverDrive e-books

The week of November 22, the Library was experiencing two issues impacting user experience for Wiley and OverDrive e-book titles in which only a small portion of the Library's Wiley e-book titles were underrepresented in the Sofia catalogue and OverDrive holdings were overrepresented.
The original issue for Wiley has been fixed but the OverDrive issue, outlined below, is still outstanding.

Open Access Agreement with Karger Publishing starting January 1, 2022
The聽Library聽is excited to announce an open access agreement with Karger Publishing.
As of聽January 1, 2022, 成人VR视频 corresponding authors submitting to Karger journals will have the option to make their work open access at no cost.听听
Note the following exceptions however:聽
December 1 - 21 | Extended opening hours at McLennan-Redpath Library Complex and Nahum Gelber Law Library
Beginning in December, two branches will be open later to give you more time to study and get your work done.
From Wednesday, December 1 to Tuesday, December 21, the McLennan-Redpath Library Complex and the Nahum Gelber Law Library聽will be open for study purposes 24 hours per day, 7聽days a week.
Please note that:
Exam period access to Nahum Gelber Law Library for Fall 2021
As of December 1, 成人VR视频 students are able to access the Nahum Gelber Law Library 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As agreed between the Students' Society of 成人VR视频 (SSMU) and the Law Students Association (LSA), the Nahum Gelber Law Library will limit access to the three upper floors of the library to Law students only during the December 7 to 21 examination period. Details are as follows:
City work on McTavish between Sherbrooke and Dr. Penfield from November 8 to 10 inclusive
Contractors for the City of Montreal will be working on modifications to the east sidewalk on聽McTavish Street (between Sherbrooke and Dr. Penfield) from Monday, November 8 to Wednesday, November 10 inclusive.聽A聽security perimeter will be installed to ensure the safety of pedestrians.

- The work will be divided into 3 sections, beginning with the portion closest to Dr. Penfield which is scheduled for Monday, November 8.
