Webcast: From farm to fork: how is the COVID-19 pandemic affecting our food, our food supply and our farmers?
Food remains a central concern during the pandemic, from questions about safe grocery shopping and take-out meals, to larger issues about the integrity of our food supply chain as the COVID-19 outbreak strikes meat processing plants and limits the availability of foreign farm workers. What precautions should we take when bringing food into our homes? Will we face shortages and rising prices at the grocery store? What measures are needed to support our farmers, processors and distributors?
Join us for a special webcast featuring two experts from the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (AES) at 成人VR视频鈥檚 Macdonald Campus, each focusing on a specific aspect of our food from consumer safety to the future of the supply chain.
