Academics Without Borders Canada (formerly called Academics for Higher Education and Development) is a bilingual non-governmental organization based in Montreal with volunteers working around the world.聽 The purpose of AWBC to help build capacity in tertiary education in the developing world, thereby improving and extending higher education for the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals.
