Looking after your own health and wellness

The health and wellness of our academic staff is of vital importance to the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. We want you to flourish in your role, and provide you with a supportive environment, as well as the conditions, resources and networks you need to do your best work.

The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is committed to promoting a healthy, equitable and respectful work and learning environment and protecting you from harassment, sexual harassment or discrimination. The Academic Affairs Office is assessing various aspects of workplace wellness in order to create a portrait of current wellness-related factors, and identify ways to improve workplace wellness. Where to find help if you are a Contract Academic Staff (Clinical) Faculty Member

Faculty members who are not eligible for ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Supplemental Health Benefits (e.g., clinical staff) should contact the Quebec Physicians' Health Program (PAMQ), a confidential referral and support service for physicians in Quebec.

Where to find help if you are a Contract Academic Staff (research/professional) or Tenure Track Faculty Member

Non-clinical faculty members are eligible for ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Supplemental Health Benefits. The ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Employee and Family Assistance Program provides access to arms’-length support including up to 4 sessions per reference period of psychology, and other services (e.g., financial planning, legal aid, social work) for eligible faculty members.
